The Breakaway Screw & Plate is for use with single-fin boxes / channels. Universal to fit all standard channels. Designed to break with serious impact so fin can come free preventing breaking of finbox. Includes both brass pan-head screw and plate.

NWS was developed Ron Williamson in the 1980s. Ron was a passionate surfer / board-builder and set out to design a better leash plug. Ron passed away in 2000, but to this day his plugs are the most common used by US surfboard manufacturers. These products are still produced by a small team in the Pacific Northwest, using Ron's original mold-injection machines.
