7 Inch Buffing Backing Plate

7 Inch Backing Plate for use with a sander/polisher and wool buffing pads. The plate has a firm but flexible surface that provides support while allowing the pad to maintain better contact with the curved surface of a surfboard during polishing.

The included thru-bolt attaches through the outside of the wool pad and secures to the backing plate. The plate features a 5/8-11 thread for compatibility with standard US sander/polisher spindles.
