SHIPPING & HANDLING
We will be performing our annual inventory during the week of July 14 - 21. In addition, we'll also be making many website updates at that time. Our website will remain open for placing orders, however, we will not be shipping orders during that week due to our inventory work.
Orders placed July 13 - 21 will be shipped the week beginning July 23. Please understand this is to being you a better service. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your continued support!
We aim to ship all orders within 1 business day. If we cannot ship your order within several business days, we will contact you to indicate the reason of delay and provide alternative options.
Domestic USPS Priority Mail
USPS Priority Mail domestic transit times are 1, 2 or 3 days based on where your package is being sent. USPS Priority Mail transit times do not include the amount of time to process an order - please see section above. Priority Mail is trackable, yet transit time does not come with a money-back guarantee.
Fiberglass & Fabric Shipments
All fiberglass and other reinforcement fabrics are shipped in a continuous length. Quantities of less than 3 yards are typically folded, and anything over 3 yards is typically rolled. Please place fiberglass order separate from bulky items or liquids to ensure that it arrives rolled in a separate package. Our system quotes the fiberglass as folded for fiberglass and bulky item / liquid combined orders. For example, if you order a gallon of resin and 10 yards of fiberglass, fiberglass will be folded. If you order finboxes and 10 yards of fiberglass, your fiberglass will arrive rolled since we can fit the small finboxes into the fiberglass box. Please email or call us with any questions.
Blanks & Milling Shipments
Blanks and machine-shaped surfboards are shipped via ground freight. Blank shipment preparation averages 5 business days. CNC Pre-Shapes are cut-to-order and the milling process takes about 2 weeks. We do not ship blanks and/or machine-shaped surfboards internationally, or to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. If you are in one of these locations, adding blanks to your cart will result in a cart error during checkout. Shipping costs to residential areas are slightly higher and will result in an additional charge. Rural destinations and/or destinations away from major city ports may also result in additional shipping costs.
Blank shipping cost at checkout is an uninsured estimate to most commercial locations throughout the US. Shaper Supply is not liable for any damage incurred in shipping uninsured freight. Full insurance can typically be purchased for $30. Actual shipping costs may vary, and all options will be presented to you after your blanks are boxed. Please contact us prior to checkout if you's like us to prepare a custom quote.
Below is an example of standard freight shipping costs and add-on items:
$180 - Commercial Surfboard Freight (uninsured)
+$40 - Residential Delivery
+$30 - Add Insurance
+$10 - Per board - Additional padding for CNC cuts
Please note, orders shipped via low-cost USPS 1st Class International Mail are non-trackable once outside of the United States and do not carry insurance if the package is lost or stolen. All international orders that are shipped with UPS and other USPS shipping methods will have insurance and a tracking number so that you can follow your package during the whole transit time.
You may be responsible for import duties and taxes on your international order. It is the buyer's responsibility to understand their countries import duties and/or UPS transfer fees. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges or delays and cannot predict what they may be. In addition, some orders may experience customs delays. We suggest that you contact your local customs office for additional information.
We accept American Express, Master Card, Visa, JCB, Diners Club, Discover, and Apple Pay. Sales tax charged depends on where the order is shipped.
RETURNS, REFUNDS & EXCHANGES
Shaper Supply does not offer the ability to return, refund or exchange the items you purchase. If you were sent the wrong or damaged item(s), please notify us within 5 days and we can correct the order. Please be sure to order the correct items and feel free to contact us with any questions you may have prior to your purchase.
