The 3 oz 30" Flax surfboard cloth is a high-performance natural fiber reinforcement material developed specifically for surfboard construction. Unlike general-purpose flax fabrics, this cloth is engineered for composite surfboard applications where weight, drape, and resin compatibility must be carefully balanced.

Many off-the-shelf flax materials are overly heavy or tightly woven, making them difficult to laminate cleanly. This surf-specific flax uses low-twist fibers and an optimized weave structure to improve wet-out, conformity, and overall laminate consistency.

This is 100% flax fiber cloth, with no fiberglass or hybrid content. Some market alternatives are blended with fiberglass to improve handling, but this material is kept pure to preserve the natural vibration damping and flex characteristics of flax in surfboard laminates.
