4 oz 25" Double Bias Surfboard Fiberglass

The 4 oz 25" Double Bias biaxial fiberglass cloth is constructed from two layers of fiberglass fibers oriented at +45° and −45°, lightly stitched together to improve stability, strength, and fiber alignment. This biaxial structure delivers excellent shear strength and torsional control, making it ideal for high-performance surfboards, EPS builds, and stringerless designs.

Highly conformable, it wraps easily around complex contours while improving impact resistance and helping reduce localized damage such as heel dents and dings. It is commonly used as a structural sandwich layer within deck schedules and is often laminated beneath E-Glass or other outer skins for added durability.

This material is widely used in modern surfboard construction to reinforce high-stress areas such as tail blocks, deck zones, and carbon hybrid schedules. The result is a strong, responsive, and durable laminate built for the demands of technical surfboard design and performance.
