Skil 100 Replacement Brush Set

The Skil 100 Replacement Brush Set is designed to replace worn or damaged motor brushes in Skil 100 planers. Maintaining the brushes is important for reliable motor operation and can help keep these classic surfboard planers in service.

Inspect the brushes periodically and keep the brush and holder area free of dirt and dust. Brushes should be replaced if they are burned, chipped, damaged, or worn shorter than 1/4". Always replace both motor brushes at the same time.

Two brush versions are available depending on the brush holders installed on your planer:

Version 1: For older Skil 100 planers with brass brush holder caps.

Version 2: For later Skil 100 planers with small plastic brush holder caps.

Check the brush holder caps on your planer before ordering to determine the correct version.
