Cab-O-Sil Fumed Silica

Cab-O-Sil® Fumed Silica is the industry-standard thickening agent for polyester and epoxy resin systems. Made in the USA, Cab-O-Sil creates a strong, non-sag resin paste that is ideal for structural surfboard repairs, fin box installations, fillets, and adhesive applications.

Unlike Q-Cel Microspheres, Cab-O-Sil produces a denser mixture with superior flex characteristics and higher bond strength. It can be mixed with epoxy or polyester resin to achieve the desired consistency for everything from laminating fillets to structural bonding. For white repairs, simply add pigment to achieve the desired color.

Available in 8 oz, Quart, Gallon, and 10 lb Bag sizes.
