The Makita Sander & Polisher is a proven choice for professional surfboard manufacturing, offering the power and speed control needed for shaping, sanding, and polishing.

The sander features a 5/8-11 spindle for direct compatibility with our Round FlexPads. Variable speed control from 0 to 3,200 RPM provides a wide operating range for working with foam, sanding cured laminations and hot coats, and polishing finished surfboards.

For polishing applications, the Makita is compatible with our 7 Inch Buffing Backing Plate and 8 Inch Wool Buffing Pad.
