6 oz 25" Double Bias Surfboard Fiberglass

The 6 oz 25" Double Bias fiberglass cloth (biaxial) features two layers of fiberglass fibers oriented at +45° and −45°, lightly stitched together to create a stable, high-strength reinforcement fabric. This biaxial construction provides excellent shear strength and torsional rigidity, making it well-suited for demanding composite applications where added structural performance is required.

Compared to lighter biaxial fabrics, the 6 oz version offers increased thickness and impact resistance, making it ideal for high-load areas in surfboard construction such as decks, bottoms, and reinforced structural zones. It is commonly used in EPS and epoxy builds, as well as stringerless or high-performance designs where additional stiffness and durability are required.

This material conforms well to complex shapes and integrates cleanly into multi-layer laminate schedules. It is often used in combination with E-Glass, carbon, or other reinforcement fabrics to build strong, durable composite structures capable of handling increased stress and impact loads.
