Our 4oz Basalt surfboard cloth is a eco-friendly option from glassing with traditional fiberglass. It features a plain-weave pattern and easily laminates similar to e-cloth fiberglass, yet is 20% stronger.

Basalt cloth provides superior impact resistance to carbon (does not shatter) while providing similar flex to fiberglass. Basalt cloth has excellent dampening properties which can be used to reduce chatter on EPS boards.
