The 4 oz 38" E-Glass surfboard fiberglass cloth is designed specifically for wider surfboard construction where proper rail laps are required. The 38-inch width allows glassers to achieve clean, continuous deck and bottom laminations on longboards, SUPs, and foil boards while maintaining consistent overlap around the rails.

This wider format is essential for achieving proper rail laps, ensuring the cloth fully wraps rails without being too short. In traditional longboard construction, the 38-inch width is also commonly used to create a more pronounced, wide lap, which is often preferred for classic or heritage-style finishes.

This ultra-white E-Glass cloth features a soft drape that conforms easily around rails and contours. It wets out cleanly with both epoxy and polyester resins, producing a clear laminate with excellent tensile strength and clean, clear laps.
