The 4 oz 38" E-Glass surfboard fiberglass cloth is designed specifically for wider surfboard construction where full rail coverage and proper lap development are required. The 38-inch width allows glassers to achieve clean, continuous deck and bottom laminations on longboards, SUPs, and foil boards while maintaining consistent overlap around the rails.

This wider format is essential for achieving proper rail laps, ensuring the cloth fully wraps the rails without running short. In traditional longboard construction, the 38" width is also commonly used to create a more pronounced, wide lap, which is often preferred for classic or heritage-style finishes.

Manufactured from premium E-Glass fibers, this cloth features a tight, consistent weave with a soft drape that conforms easily to rails, domes, and complex contours. It wets out cleanly with both epoxy and polyester resins, producing a strong, clear laminate with reliable structural performance and long-term durability.
