Bio-Science 2000 Clear Epoxy Resin

The Resin Research Bio-Science resins are ECOBOARD certified plant-based epoxies designed to deliver high-performance results with a reduced environmental footprint.

This Clear 2000 resin is preferred when working with tints or pigments, allowing colors to appear vivid, clean, and highly vibrant. It is also ideal for carbon fiber and wood applications, helping preserve true material tones. Unlike resins with blue optical brighteners, Clear 2000 maintains accurate color representation and prevents unwanted shifts such as carbon fiber turning purple.

This resin is formulated with similar UV blockers found in other Resin Research systems, without the added blue optical brighteners, helping maintain long-term clarity and performance.

Hardener options and working times:
Slow Hardener (2100S) – Pot life ~30 minutes | Flip time ~4 hours
Fast Hardener (2100F) – Pot life ~20 minutes | Flip time ~2 hours
Kwik Hardener (KWIK) – Pot life ~15 minutes | Flip time ~1.5 hours
