Designed specifically for shaping surfboards, the Makita Cordless Modified Planer combines the proven performance of Makita's cordless platform with precision-engineered custom modifications built for professional shaping. 

Featuring a custom-machined depth control system, this planer delivers rapid and precise depth adjustments, transitioning from zero depth to the full 1/8" cutting depth in just a quarter turn of the adjustment knob. The result is the ability of on-the-fly depth adjustments and worldwide compatibility.

Built with precision-machined components and engineered for long-term durability, each planer is modified and assembled to withstand the demands of daily use. A vacuum attachment is included should you want to use a dust collection while shaping.
