Resin Tints create a transparent finish, allowing the fiberglass weave and foam blank to remain visible for classic resin tint laminations and artistic color work. Resin Pigments produce a solid, opaque finish that completely covers the fiberglass and foam beneath, making them ideal for traditional solid-color surfboards and color matching repairs.

Merlot Tint produces a transparent deep wine-red color while allowing the fiberglass weave and foam blank to remain visible. Color intensity can be adjusted by varying the amount of tint added to the resin, allowing builders to achieve anything from a lighter translucent red to a deep, rich merlot finish.

Compatible with polyester and epoxy resin systems, this highly concentrated professional resin tint mixes easily into laminating resin and can be blended with other Shaper Supply Resin Tints to create custom colors and unique effects.
