Shaper Supply offers Professional Paste-Style Resin Colorants formulated specifically for surfboard construction and composite laminating. Unlike many inexpensive liquid dyes, paste-style colorants provide rich, vibrant colors with excellent color stability and consistency, making them the preferred choice of professional surfboard builders.
Resin Tints create a transparent finish, allowing the fiberglass weave and foam blank to remain visible for classic resin tint laminations and artistic color work. Resin Pigments produce a solid, opaque finish that completely covers the fiberglass and foam beneath, making them ideal for traditional solid-color surfboards and color matching repairs.
Yellow Tint produces a transparent yellow color while allowing the fiberglass weave and foam blank to remain visible. Color intensity can be adjusted by varying the amount of tint added to the resin, allowing builders to achieve anything from a light translucent yellow to a deeper, more vibrant finish.
Compatible with polyester and epoxy resin systems, this highly concentrated professional resin tint mixes easily into laminating resin and can be blended with other Shaper Supply Resin Tints to create custom colors and unique effects.
Applications
Ideal for surfboard manufacturing, surfboard repairs, stand up paddle boards, foil boards, skimboards, composite laminating, and other fiberglass projects. Yellow Tint can be used alone or blended with other resin tints to create custom transparent colors for a wide variety of composite applications.
