Z-Seal

Z-Seal can be used to seal EPS blanks prior to glassing. It’s ideal for filling gouges or voids in a shaped blank, or for creating a smooth surface suitable for airbrushing and other color work.

Instructions:
Mix the Z-Seal concentrate with distilled water until it reaches the approximate consistency of toothpaste. Using distilled water is critical, as minerals found in other water sources may cause discoloration. Once mixed, squeegee the paste evenly over the shaped blank and allow it to dry completely. After drying, it can be lightly sanded with fine-grit sandpaper if necessary.

It is recommended to tape off the stringer prior to applying Z-Seal to ensure proper resin and fiberglass cloth adhesion during glassing.
